Here are some frequently asked questions by previous attendees
Who is the NINE Woman?
The NINE woman wants to live an intentional life. She is compassionate, creative, loyal and loves the outdoors and nature. She values and craves community and friendships and is looking to connect with a new group of women or re-connect with old friends. She is at any age or stage in life where she needs a refresh or reboot. She lost her identity somewhere over the last few years and rejects the labels she’s been given. Deep down, she is fierce and wild and wants to love herself the way she loves the people around her. She’s searching for a new found clarity and purpose.
Can I connect with the women attending before I arrive?
Absolutely! We have an online forum for you to connect with every woman signed up for your retreat.
You'll have a chance to introduce yourself, coordinate travel plans, get advice + support and more.
Is NINE a religious retreat?
No. At NINE, we all come from different spiritual & religious beliefs but that is not the focus.
What is the age range of women attending?
The age range of women attending varies from early 20's to early 60's. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter how old you are, we're all just women coming together in one place to support each other.
Can you accommodate food allergies or preferences?
We always offer vegetarian, vegan, + gluten free options. You can list your allergies and dietary preferences when you register. We will do our best to accommodate them!
I'm an introvert. It's hard to open up in front of large groups. Is NINE a good fit for me?
Because NINE is fairly small & intimate, it's a little easier to open up and connect with people. We set aside "Free Time" on each day, which gives you a chance to go for a walk, take a nap, journal and quiet your mind. You have the choice to immerse yourself as much or as little as you're comfortable with!
Do I need to own a business to attend?
No! Women that sign up for NINE are stay-at-home moms, entrepreneurs, work part or full-time, want to start a business, want to grow a business or even want to retire.
I'm nervous about sharing a room with someone. Is that common?
Absolutely! It's been a long time since we went to camp as girls or had roommates in college. Most of us live on our own or with our immediate families – we're comfortable with who we know! The last 3 years, we've had women ask us: "How in the world did you know to pair us together in the same room? She is my new BFF!" The good news is that you'll be spending most of your time outside of your room, immersed in the classes, workshops, and adventures! Your rooms are for storing your things, sleeping, showering and taking a moment to relax. If you have an issue with a roommate, we welcome you to speak to Kym or Kimberly directly and we'll see what we can do for you!
Can you help me with travel plans?
Yes! We are here for you every step of the way. Kimberly, our co-coordinator, is a pro when it comes to travel arrangements and connecting women to share rental cars, taxis and find someone to sit next to on the plane! Our biggest goal, though, is to help you get here safely, on time and save money.
Contact Kimberly at firstname.lastname@example.org for questions regarding travel.
