COMMUNITY GUIDELINES

Hello, we’re glad that you want to be a part of our strong community! Before you do, please keep these simple guidelines in mind:

Do

Respect each other. This may be an online venue, but we’re all equals no matter where we share our thoughts and opinions.

Keep your comments focused and on topic, according to each post. This helps facilitate the best, most productive conversations. If you have bigger ideas, send us an email or private message. We’re happy to hear from you.

Protect your privacy. Comments on the blog are visible to anyone that is given permission to join. You shouldn’t post anything here that you wouldn’t say in public. Protect your privacy and don’t give out personal information such as email addresses, telephone numbers or street addresses. You can read NINE’s privacy policy.

Don't

Be hateful. Disagreements can lead to great progress. However, insulting individuals will not be tolerated. Comments that use obscenities, personal insults, ethnic slurs or other disparaging language will be removed.

Think we’re responsible for the content of other websites. We cannot control the content of sites that we may link to or sites that may link to us. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by NINE. In addition, NINE is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other websites. We encourage you to read the privacy statements of every website that requests personal information from you.

Post spam. Users who post spam will have their posts removed. If a post that is otherwise appropriate includes links considered to be spam, those links will be removed. Multiple posts that include spam will result in banning the user from accessing our online community.

Post any sensitive information. Moderators will do their best to remove personal information from posts to protect your privacy.

Forget to have fun and be kind!

The Teachers

NINE Retreat brings the most inspiring women to share their stories, life experiences, and expertise. From certified coaches and therapists; to yoga and mindfulness teachers; to business and financial experts; every year brings something new and offers content that every woman can connect with.

Meals + Snacks

All of your meals and snacks are included in your registration. When you register, we will ask for any dietary restrictions and allergies and will do our best to accommodate! We always have vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options.

Mental Wellness

We believe that mental health is just as important as physical health. At NINE, we have a licensed therapist available for you to talk to.

Free Time

We always plan for at least 2 hours of free time each full day. This way, you can explore the property, go hiking, take a nap, hang out with new friends, read a book, journal by the pond, meditate, sign up for 1-on-1 meeting with a teacher, attend a small group class, go for a drive...the options are unique to each retreat!

  • women who will bring a diversity of perspectives, background, and experience to the retreat;

  • want to apply what they learn to their personal development, work, or studies, and in their community;

  • would not be able to afford to attend the retreat without a scholarship; and can commit to attending the full retreat.
